Download the tool

$ curl http://commondatastorage.googleapis.com/git-repo-downloads/repo > ~/bin/repo

Make the tool executable

$ chmod a+x ~/bin/repo

Add the directory to the PATH variable

$ PATH=${PATH}:~/bin
